# Dashboard and Monitoring in BeyondGuard

> Monitor your AI security posture in real time — safe/unsafe ratios, category distributions, anomaly detection, and historical performance analytics.

When you sign in to the BeyondGuard platform, the **Dashboard** is the first screen you see. It is the central control panel for monitoring the overall security and usage status of your AI from a single place, in real time.

## Dashboard

The Dashboard summarizes every query flowing through the platform and presents security categories and their distribution as graphical visualizations. Its main capabilities:

* **Query volume and trends** — the total number of executed queries, safe/unsafe ratios, and how they change over time.
* **Anomaly detection** — an AI-based module that automatically detects consecutive risky behaviors across successive queries and raises alerts when repeated unsafe conditions are seen.
* **Category distribution** — query distribution by security category, with categorical analysis charts.
* **Top endpoints** — an automatic listing of the top five endpoints generating the most requests during the day.

This gives security teams and administrators a fast way to spot operational risk and take action.

## Monitoring

The **Monitoring** view is a historical analytics screen for tracking every query in terms of both performance and security. Select a date range to see how many queries were processed, how many were blocked, the success rate, and average response times.

Key indicators surfaced here:

| Metric | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Total Requests** | Volume of queries processed in the selected range |
| **Blocked Threats** | How many requests were blocked by policy |
| **Success Rate** | The system's overall pass/handling rate |
| **Average Response Time** | End-to-end latency across queries |

The **Anomaly Detection** graph shows daily anomaly counts; clicking a value drills into hourly detail for time-based analysis of abnormal query behavior. Together, these let teams catch potential threats early and act proactively.
